In a former industrial complex in Eindhoven, Piet Hein Eek new
space is a mix of laboratory, workshop, showroom, shop and restaurant. You can really find whatever lighting style you like. I was positively impressed by this crystal sculpture.It would be difficult to find the right place for it in your home, but an architect can probably propose it to a private club or a trendy coffee-bar.

In una ex area industriale in Eindhoven, Piet Hein Eek ha ricreato un nuovo polo che funge da laboratorio,officina artigiana,esposizione e ristorante.Qui si trova una lampada per ogni gusto! Mi è particolarmente piaciuta questa scultura in cristallo.Credo sia difficile collocarla in una casa, ma un architetto potrebbe proporla ad un club privato o a un locale alla moda.

Street Food Lighting
Street Food Lighting aims to illuminate some of the darkest corners in
our cities with a whole new media experience: video projections of
bright food stalls and night markets from all over the world, based on the tradition of street food markets in some areas of China, Thailand, India, Indonesia or South Americ, to name a few."In this project", says Alfonso Herranz," I would like to use
Eindhoven as a white canvas to show the habits of different cultures. To
promote our streets as places for social learning and exchange, making
them brighter, safer and more interesting at the same time, bringing art
and design to neighbourhoods and people who normally don’t interfere
with it." That's another way to make our urban centers more attractive and safer at nighttime!

Street Food Lighting si propone di illuminare alcuni degli angoli più bui delle nostre città con una nuova esperienza multimediale: proiezioni video di bancarelle alimentari luminose e mercati notturni provenienti da tutto il mondo, basate sulla tradizione dei mercati alimentari di strada in alcune zone della Cina, Thailandia, India, Indonesia e Sud America, solo per citarne alcuni. "In questo progetto", dice Alfonso Herranz, "Vorrei usare Eindhoven come una tela bianca per mostrare le abitudini di diverse culture. Promuovere le nostre strade come luoghi di incontri sociali, di apprendimento e di scambio, che le renda più luminose, più sicure e più interessanti al tempo stesso, portando l'arte e il design nei quartieri e alle persone che di solito non interferiscono con essi." Questo è un altro modo per rendere i nostri centri urbani più attraenti e sicuri nelle ore notturne!
