Futurist Pylons

Nuovi pali della luce dai progetti di sei finalisti del concorso "Pylon for the future",durante il London design festival al Victoria and Albert Museum di Londra fino al 5 ottobre. Gli attuali piloni della corrente elettrica potrebbero essere rimpiazzati dai nuovi a favore di un minore impatto con l'ambiente.

New electricity pylons from the projects of six finalists of the "Pylon for the Future", during the London Design Festival at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London until October 5. The current electricity pylons may be replaced by the new in favor of a minor impact on the environment.

LEE BROOM : ART DECO INSPIRED LIGHTING LINE

I have always been fascinated by Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Liberty style in all their forms. '70s fashion then is my favourite..Lee Broom, one of Britain's most exciting young designers, launching his new collection at the London Design Festival this September, managed to combine both with excellent results. He affirms this new collection has been influenced by Art Deco jewelry and late '70s fashion photography. Citing the author's words, with this new range OLO ( One light only), he wanted to create lighting fixtures particularly accessible and affordable.

Sono sempre rimasta affascinata dallo stile del periodo Art Deco, Art Nouveau e Liberty e la moda anni '70 é la mia preferita.. Lee Broom, tra i più sorprendenti giovani talenti del Regno Unito, lanciando la sua nuova collezione al London Design Festival a settembre é riuscito magistralmente a combinarli insieme con risultati eccellenti. Egli stesso afferma che questa nuova collezione é stata influenzata dalla gioielleria ART DECO e dalle fotografie di moda fine anni '70. Citando le parole dello stesso autore, con questa nuova gamma OLO ( One light Only), ha volutamente creato lampade particolarmente accessibili .
