| Poop Lamp by Diana Dumitrescu
In 1961 Piero Manzoni created and produced 90 tins containing his fresh shit. It was of course a strong disapproval against the prevailing art and the concept that whatever an artist produces must be considered a masterpiece. One Artist's shit tin is now at the MUSEO DEL NOVECENTO in Milano. Probably the designer Diana Dumitrescu has been inspired by Manzoni and now she has produced her lighting "masterpiece". Will you put it on your desk?
Nel 1961 Piero Manzoni creò e produsse 90 barattoli contenenti le proprie feci. Volle essere una forte critica contro l'arte allora predominante e il concetto che qualsiasi cosa un artista avesse prodotto, sarebbe stata considerata un capolavoro. Uno di questi barattoli è ora al MUSEO DEL NOVECENTO di Milano. Probabilmente la designer Diana Dumitrescu si è fatta ispirare da Manzoni ed ha prodotto il suo "capolavoro" luminoso.
