La luce è vita, la luce ci rende visibili,la luce ci rende il visibile, la luce è movimento ! Tutti questi concetti resi magistralmente attraverso delle installazioni luminose proposte da OSRAM che accompagnano il visitatore nel suo percorso verso la nuova ala del DEUTCHES MUSEUM di Monaco di Baviera dedicato all' ENERGIA, alle NANO TECNOLOGIE e a tutto ciò che la scienza sta sviluppando per l'immediato futuro. Il visitatore viene immerso nel colore  in una serie sequenziale di pannelli luminosi.

Light is life, light makes us visible, light is movement! All these concepts given masterfully through OSRAM light installations that accompany the visitor on his way to the new wing of the DEUTCHES MUSEUM in Munich dedicated to ENERGY, to the NANO TECHNOLOGIES  and to the science's developments for our next future. The visitor is immersed in different pure colors in a sequential series of light panels.

Dan Flavin a Villa Panza

Dalla fine degli anni '60 Giuseppe Panza adattò gli ambienti delle scuderie e dei rustici per ospitare alcune opere d'arte ambientale. Ampiamente rappresentato in questa ala anche il newyorkese Dan Flavin, di cui la collezione Panza vanta la più grande concentrazione di opere perennemente esposte. Villa Panza, a pochi passi dal centro di Varese, è stata donata al FAI nel 1996 da Giuseppe Panza. Il complesso, aperto al pubblico nel 2000 ospita mostre di alto profilo in ambito internazionale.

Dan Flavin

In the late sixties Giuseppe Panza has renovated the stables and rustic rooms to accommodate some works of environmental art. The New Yorker Dan Flavin is also widely represented in this wing : Panza collection hosts the largest concentration of his works, perennially exhibited. Villa Panza, a few steps from the center of Varese, was donated to the FAI in 1996 by Giuseppe Panza. The complex, open to the public in 2000, hosts high-profile exhibitions at an international level.

Un Artista Ultracontemporaneo

Fino al 13 maggio, presso Villa Vertua Masolo, a Nova Milanese, LUCE, MATERIA, DIFFRAZIONI,FLUORESCENZE, la personale di Marco Mariani, artista italiano dallo spirito eclettico. Dopo decenni passati a dipingere quadri astratti e materici, a partire dai primi anni del 2000, le sue opere si illuminano, vedono l'irrompere della luce nella materia con le sue creazioni di "sistemi materia-luce" fino a giungere alle recenti opere trasparenti su plexiglas.

Until May 13th 2018, at Villa Vertua Masolo, in Nova Milanese, LIGHT, MATERIA, DIFFRAZIONI, FLUORESCENZE, the personal exhibition of Marco Mariani, an Italian artist with an eclectic spirit. After decades of abstract and material paintings, starting from the early years of 2000, his works light up with his creations of "material-light systems" up to the recent transparent works on plexiglas.

Celebrating our hundredth member in our dollhouse lighting group !

Our FLICKR group about dollhouse lighting celebrates Léah, our hundredth member. We welcome her and we congratulate with her for all her wonderful work, including, of course, some dollhouse lighting. Our group includes now almost 1.500 pictures, fully dedicated to dioramas in doll scale with amazing lamps, most of the times enlightened! We are very proud of our members and their refined works, which may inspire indoor spaces in human scale.

Stiamo valutando idee,iniziative per creare eventi,incontri in Italia durante il IYL 2015, UNESCO International Year of Light 2015 !

Lots of people seem to be excited by the idea of an official year to celebrate the thing we love the most, but are unable to get it together to put forward a proposal to help create an exciting and educational year.
There should be no barrier to entering an event or idea. It doesn’t have to be something that costs lots of money not do you need to have years of experience. It also doesn’t need to be a large event. You could offer a lighting design clinic, open your office to other disciplines, go into a local school and talk about light, offer to teach a class at a university or college, create a tour of your projects or a general light walk around a city… Now the call has been extended.
