EUROLUCE 2019

Il mio Salone del mobile 2019 in pillole..in particolare Euroluce 2019:luci soffuse,colori anni '60,grappoli di luce,vetri leggerissimi, trasparenze e opacità, geometrie led che ricordano Lucio Fontana.

Bravi come sempre quelli del Melogranoblu ( foto grande) e bellissime proposte da Flos ( foto in basso).

A brief Miscellanea from Salone del mobile and Euroluce 2019, taking place in Milano in these days : soft lights, Sixties' tones, light, transparent and opal glass, led sticks on the ceiling and on the walls, reminding me of the great italian artist Lucio Fontana. Glasses (above left in the picture) are from Melogranoblu. Very interesting installlations by Flos ( below in the picture)

Dal Salone del Mobile di Milano 2017, nel VENTURA DESIGN DISTRICT dedicato a ciò che farà tendenza, ecco apparire queste eleganti "lampade riscaldanti" in ceramica curva, interamente prodotte in Italia. La serie, denominata Tùlon,è un complemento d’arredo riscaldante ed illuminante concepito per donare comfort in ogni ambiente. Il corpo in ceramica accumula l’energia termica prodotta da resistenze elettriche di 800W e 1600W di potenza,trasmettendo il calore per irraggiamento.
Il paralume in stoffa è fornito di 4 lampade a basso consumo energetico. L’illuminazione è indipendente dal funzionamento termico.
La semplicità del prodotto, l’unicità delle ceramiche curve e la possibilità di customizzazione, fanno di Tulòn un’icona di design senza tempo.Tulòn è il vero emblema di MOI ITALIA che esprime in maniera massima la capacità dell'azienda di distinguersi concretizzando il talento di saper vedere ogni oggetto secondo il personale punto di vista.

During International Furniture Show 2017 in Milano, at VENTURA DESIGN DISTRICT, dedicated to new trends, elegant curved ceramic " heating lamps" pop up. The range, called Tùlon, is a design accessory, heated and enlightened, that gives comfort in every place. The ceramic body accumulates thermal energy produced by electrical heaters 800W and 1600W, transmitting the heat by radiation.
The lampshade  is equipped with 4 low energy lamps. The light is independent from the thermal system. The simplicity of the product, the uniqueness of curved ceramic and the possibility of being customized, make Tulòn an icon of timeless design, according to the best tradition of Made in Italy. Tùlon is the symbol of MOI ITALIA, which fully expresses the ability of the company to identify its talent, throwing a special light according to a very personal view.

Temporary Installation by  melogranoblu at SUPERSTUDIO - Via Tortona, 27 Milano during FUORI SALONE 2013

This time I enjoyed Euroluce 2013 very much, hanging around with my colleagues and stopping by at many stands...sometimes invited by customers for a good Prosecco cheers... I visited all four halls, met some customers and found new business opportunities. That's all everyone can expect from a good fair! Not very crowded but visitors coming from all over the world. The exhibitors were less in number compared to previous editions, but I must admit the quality of the lighting fixtures was really amazing! Not exciting technological products, but design and first quality materials were certainly there! I am preparing a dedicated slideshow to EUROLUCE 2013 in my blog shortly, so that everyone can be inspired.

For celebrating EUROLUCE 2013, I have chosen this temporary installation by melogranoblu. It was presented at SUPERSTUDIO in Via Tortona, 27 Milano for FUORI SALONE, the now very famous melting pot during the various editions of SALONE INTERNAZIONALE DEL MOBILE.

Stavolta a EUROLUCE 2013 mi sono proprio divertita, gironzolando con i miei colleghi, fermandoci in numerosi stand...a volte invitati per un brindisi con del buon Prosecco.. Ho visitato tutti 4 i padiglioni, incontrato alcuni clienti e trovato alcune nuove opportunità di collaborazione. E' tutto quello che ognuno si aspetterebbe da un buon evento fieristico! Non affollatissimo ma visitatori da tutto il mondo.Meno espositori rispetto alle passate edizioni però devo ammettere che la qualità dei prodotti era davvero eccellente! Non grandi novità tecnologiche ma design e qualità decisamente al top!. Sto preparando una slideshow dedicata a EUROLUCE 2013 qui sul mio blog a breve, così da ispirare qualcuno..

Per celebrare EUROLUCE 2013, ho scelto questa installazione temporanea di melogranoblu. E' stata presentata presso SUPERSTUDIO in Via Tortona, 27 Milano per il FUORI SALONE , l'ormai famoso punto d'incontro durante le varie edizioni del SALONE INTERNAZIONALE DEL MOBILE

My dear friend in New York took these shots just for me from a shop window : these are lighting fixtures out of the creativity of Lindsey Adelman, a talented New York designer, able to mix and match traditional mouth-blown glass bubble together with the latest LED technology. Visiting her web site and blog, I could realize that she will present her collection at VENTURALAMBRATE, which has become an important meeting point for worldwide extremely selected young designers during the SALONE INTERNAZIONALE DEL MOBILE in Milano from 12 to 17th April. Amazing,isn't it ?!

Il mio carissimo amico di New York ha scattato per me queste istantanee dalla vetrina di un negozio : sono lampade scaturite dalla creatività di Lindsey Adelman, una geniale design newyorkese, capace di fondere sfere di vetro soffiato a mano con la nuova tecnologia LED. Visitando il suo sito e blog, sono venuta a conoscenza che presenterà la sua collezione a VENTURALAMBRATE, un importante punto di ritrovo di selezionatissimi esordienti designer a livello mondiale durante il SALONE INTERNAZIONALE DEL MOBILE di Milano dal 12 al 17 aprile. Che simpatica coincidenza, vero?

SALONE INTERNAZIONALE DEL MOBILE 2010,MILANO

Questa settimana si é concluso il Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2010 a Milano.
La lampada di Venini qui riprodotta ben rappresenta la ricerca continua di nuove forme sulla base di un design comunque pulito e tradizionale.
Come collezionista di bambole, non posso fare altro che plaudere ad un'idea così accattivante..
Il nome della lampada é ESPERANçA in cui si immergono bambole di vetro, designers Humberto e Fernando Campana. Una immersione nella speranza...speranza di un mondo fatto di un'energia più pulita. D'altro canto anche nel mondo illuminotecnico vi é sempre maggiore attenzione al risparmio energetico sino a coloro che supportano l'idea di una GREEN LIGHT, l'evoluzione della luce "ambientalmente corretta".


This week the international furniture show 2010 in Milano has shut its doors. Venini's suspended lamp, here represented, is an excellent example of the never-ending search for new ideas based on a simple and minimal design.
As a dolls' collector I like this lamp very much.. The name of the lamp is ESPERANçA, in which tiny glass and colourful dolls plunge into a white sea made of glass. Designers are Humberto & Fernando Campana. The dolls plunge into a hope...hope for a much more clean world..Also in the lighting field there's more and more attention on the energy saving till the ones who support the concept of GREEN LIGHT : the evolution of light " environmentally correct".
