Poldi Pezzoli,Milano : Il Magico Accordo

Il 18 marzo 2013 Il Museo Poldi Pezzoli di Milano ha presentato la nuova illuminazione di alcune sale della Casa Museo in collaborazione con lo Studio Ferrara Palladino e Associati.Ospite d'onore il Prof.Philipe Daverio, il quale presenta la luce come un elemento teatrale, che nasce dal teatro stesso e che s'inserisce nel nostro contesto quotidiano,ove sempre più il concetto di notte viene abolito, rendendo così le nostre città sempre più confortevoli e vivibili. Su questo concetto di comfort ha lavorato lo Studio Ferrara Palladino ed Associati, in quanto il Poldi Pezzoli è una CASA MUSEO, dove l'elemento casa è fortemente caratterizzante. Gli altri due elementi su cui i progettisti si sono soffermati sono : la prestazione visiva, cioè dare ai quadri una percezione reale ed anche attuale ( la nostra percezione non è la stessa di quella degli anni '80 per esempio, quando le alogene facevano da padrone un po' ovunque) e la creazione di un "ambiance", di un'atmosfera gradevole per il visitatore. Il progetto quindi si basa sull'equilibrio di questi tre parametri fondamentali, creando un "magico accordo", appunto.

I proiettori delle strutture a braccio sono state posizionate e calibrate singolarmente per ogni opera d'arte. Le strutture sono in fibra di carbonio, leggerissime e i proiettori contengono LED. Con un particolare sistema ideato grazie alla collaborazione con PHILIPS LUMILEDS, si è cercato di raggiungere un analogo effetto luminoso di quello delle sorgenti a filamento, miscelando quattro sorgenti diverse all'interno di ciascun proiettore per ciascuna opera. Un progetto tailor-made veramente molto ben riuscito.

Le strutture in fibra di carbonio sono state prodotte su disegno di Ferrara Palladino e Associati dalla VEGA SRL .Gli apparecchi di illuminazione e il sistema cromatico sono stati realizzati da ILTI LUCE (gruppo PHILIPS) sempre su disegno dello Studio FERRARA PALLADINO E ASSOCIATI. 

I LED utilizzati sono prodotti da PHILIPS LUMILEDS. L'installazione curata dal Sig.Giulio Pastore ( GI-PAS)

On March 18, 2013 Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milano presented the new lighting system of several rooms of the House Museum in collaboration with Studio Ferrara Palladino e Associati. Special guest,Prof.Philipe Daverio, who presented light as a theatrical element that comes from the theatre itself, and that fits in our everyday environment, where more and more the concept of night is abolished, thus making our cities more comfortable and lively. On this concept of comfort has worked Studio Ferrara Palladino e Associati, as the Poldi Pezzoli is a HOUSE MUSEUM, where HOME  is highly distinctive.The other two elements on which designers have focused are: the visual performance, ie giving the paintings a real and current perception (our perception is not the same as that of the '80s for example, when the halogen was even abused everywhere) and the creation of an "ambiance", a pleasant atmosphere for visitors. The project therefore is based on a balance of these three key parameters, creating a "magical balance".

The projectors structures' arms have been positioned and calibrated individually for each masterpiece. The frames are made ​​of carbon fiber, a very light material and projectors contain LED. With a particular system device, thanks to the collaboration with PHILIPS LUMILEDS, it was sought to achieve a similar effect to that of the light source filament, mixing four different sources within each projector for each masterpiece. A tailor-made project ,really well done.

The carbon fiber structures were produced by VEGA SRL and designed by Ferrara Palladino e Associati . Luminaires and color system have been made by ILTI LUCE ( PHILIPS group) always on design of  Studio  FERRARA PALLADINO e ASSOCIATI. 

LED are produced by PHILIPS LUMILEDS. The installation curated by Mr.Giulio Pastore (GI-PAS)

GEWISS - NUOVE SOLUZIONI PER L'ILLUMINAZIONE PUBBLICA E PER L'ARREDO URBANO

Lo scorso marzo ho partecipato al convegno organizzato da GEWISS & PHILIPS su nuove soluzioni per l'illuminazione pubblica e l'arredo urbano. In uno scenario in cui i temi del risparmio energetico,dell'efficienza e del risultato applicativo sono oggetto di iniziative legislative e normative a livello nazionale ed internazionale,cogliere le opportunità derivanti dal passaggio dalla luce elettromeccanica a quella elettronica rappresenta il percorso obbligatorio per chi vuole mantenere un ruolo primario sia come fornitore sia come utilizzatore di illuminazione. Molto interessante l'intervento su : il “Patto dei Sindaci”strumento volontario che coinvolge attivamente le città europee nel percorso verso la sostenibilità energetica e ambientale in base al PAES, Piano d’Azione Europeo sull’Efficienza Energetica. Altrettanto interessante si può dire per la scelta di GEWISS di non farsi prendere dalla "frenesia della moda dei LED" proponendo soluzioni con tecnologie alternative in collaborazione con PHILIPS.

Last March I attended a conference organized by GEWISS & PHILIPS about new solutions for public and street lighting.

In times when  the themes about energy saving, efficiency and results' application are the main subject of national and international   legislative and regulatory initiatives, the opportunities given by the transition from electromechanical to electronic light represent  the route for those who want to maintain a key role both as a supplier and a user of lighting. Very interesting the speech on "the Covenant of Mayors". A voluntary tool that actively engages the European cities in the path towards energy and environmental sustainability based on SEAP, the European Action Plan for the energy sustainability.Also interesting GEWISS choice not to get involved totally by "LED fashion", proposing solutions with alternative technologies in collaboration with Philips.All acts of the conference in Cenate Sotto of 23rd March are available to download from the official GEWISS website.

                                  

Philips Case Study : C Luce. A leading italian company for outdoor and architectural lighting

Philips has written a case study about C Luce renewed  lighting of their headquarter. 

C Luce installed the Evolution SM projectors with the latest symmetrical optical systems.The same projectors with two optical systems in each luminaire, and MASTERColour CDM-T Elite MW 70W lamps were also used. These projectors were fitted with Philips MASTERColour CDM-T Elite 315W lamps. To accentuate the main entrance, four Reverse MC projectors with MASTERColour CDM-T Elite MW 35W lamps were installed.The same projectors with two optical systems in each luminaire and MasterColour CDM-T Elite MW 70W lamps were also used to illuminate the four vertical areas of the facade. Both projectors are top-of-the-line models in C Luce’s high-tech lighting portfolio and, thanks to their elegant shape, are ideal for illuminating high-impact areas. The lovely white light completes and enhances the whole impression and lends the entire building a handsome appearance.

Philips ha dedicato un articolo ( case study) a C Luce in occasione del rinnovato impianto di illuminazione della sede principale. La nuova illuminazione è stata realizzata in parte con proiettori asimmetrici EVOLUTION e in parte con i nuovi proiettori architetturali della famiglia REVERSE sia nella versione mono che nella versione bi-lampada. Come fonti luminose sono state utilizzate le nuovissime lampade Philips a ioduri metallici Mid Wattage da 315 Watt e MasterColor da 70 e 35 Watt a testimonianza del lungo e stabile rapporto in essere tra le due aziende e che ha portato C Luce a scegliere Philips come partner per questo progetto.

Euroluce & il Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2011 si sono appena conclusi e non vi tedierò con sunti e commenti vari che potete facilmente trovare in riviste specializzate, giornali, blog e quant'altro. Condividerò  con voi le mie impressioni attraverso delle parole chiave che vi daranno dei suggerimenti per capire verso dove i designer si stanno muovendo : ogni parola chiave richiamerà a singoli progetti o prodotti che hanno particolarmente destato il mio interesse.
