Lampadari fatti di graffette metalliche

Questi meravigliosi lampadari ,a prima vista tradizionali, nascondono una grande idea...sono fatti con graffette metalliche..E proprio qui sta la creatività e il lavoro di questa incredibile artista..."perdere il proprio tempo" - io meglio direi dedicare - ad assemblare pazientemente graffette che diventeranno splendidi oggetti illuminotecnici. Il principio é il riutilizzo di materiali.

L'artista é Penelope Bridge della British Columbia e vende i suoi prodotti sul suo Etsy : ReDesign Technologies.

These spectacular chandeliers, apparently very traditional, hide a brilliant idea...they are entirely made of paper clips.. And here is the real creativity and work of this incredible artist... she "wastes her time" - but I should say better she dedicates and spends her time- assemblying patiently all the paper-clips which will become awesome chandeliers. Her concept is reusing materials and redesigning them. The artist is Penelope Bridge,placed in British Columbia and she sells her products on her Etsy : ReDesign Technologies

SALONE INTERNAZIONALE DEL MOBILE 2010,MILANO

Questa settimana si é concluso il Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2010 a Milano.
La lampada di Venini qui riprodotta ben rappresenta la ricerca continua di nuove forme sulla base di un design comunque pulito e tradizionale.
Come collezionista di bambole, non posso fare altro che plaudere ad un'idea così accattivante..
Il nome della lampada é ESPERANçA in cui si immergono bambole di vetro, designers Humberto e Fernando Campana. Una immersione nella speranza...speranza di un mondo fatto di un'energia più pulita. D'altro canto anche nel mondo illuminotecnico vi é sempre maggiore attenzione al risparmio energetico sino a coloro che supportano l'idea di una GREEN LIGHT, l'evoluzione della luce "ambientalmente corretta".


This week the international furniture show 2010 in Milano has shut its doors. Venini's suspended lamp, here represented, is an excellent example of the never-ending search for new ideas based on a simple and minimal design.
As a dolls' collector I like this lamp very much.. The name of the lamp is ESPERANçA, in which tiny glass and colourful dolls plunge into a white sea made of glass. Designers are Humberto & Fernando Campana. The dolls plunge into a hope...hope for a much more clean world..Also in the lighting field there's more and more attention on the energy saving till the ones who support the concept of GREEN LIGHT : the evolution of light " environmentally correct".

Si é da poco conclusa l'edizione 2010 della biennale LIGHT&BUILDING a Francoforte sul Meno, Germania. Nonostante le più nere previsioni, ancora molti gli espositori ( circa 2000) ed anche i visitatori internazionali ( ca.180.000 ). A farla da padrone il LED, utilizzato sia come illuminazione decorativa d'interni, sia come illuminazione da esterni e tecnica. Molte le proposte interessanti tra le quali TERZANI, la luce pensata : ha presentato lampadari in bellissimi drappeggi metallici oppure QUASAR, eleganti apparecchi illuminanti adattissimi al contract. Tuttavia, nonostante qualcuno pensi che il LED sostituirà in toto l'incandescenza - anche per motivi di risparmio energetico- ed anche la luce alogena, credo personalmente che questo non avverrà, in quanto la luce emanata da una fonte luminosa d'incandescenza o anche alogena é difficilmente rimpiazzabile per creare spesso l'atmosfera d'ambiente giusta.

LIGHT&BUILDING fair at Frankfurt am Main, Germany, has just ended. Although forecast was negative, the show has been successful with the presence of about 2000 exhibitors worldwide and ca 180.000 international visitors. LED has been the key product of this show, used in both decorative, technical and outdoor lighting. Many interesting proposals like TERZANI : gorgeous chandeliers in metallic drapes or like QUASAR, very elegant chandeliers, suitable for contract. Nevertheless, even though some people think that LED will totally take the place of incandescent and halogen lighting- also due to energy saving - I personally believe that it won't occurr : the incandescent or halogen lighting can't be entirely substituted, as they are the only ones adding that special flare to the ambiance.
