The European Parliament has decided to ban certain HID products after 2015.
Often we receive questions whether QL can be the alternative to these energy
un efficient lamp systems. The answer is yes!
QL Induction Lamps comply with all requirements regarding energy efficiency,
lumen maintenance and lamp survival as stated in EU directive EC 245/2009.
Furthermore QL induction lamps are exempted from the restrictions listed in
directive 2011/65/EU on hazardous substances. The amount of amalgam (disposable pill) is significantly lower than in HID lamps . And because of the
extreme long life of QL lamps, the amount of amalgam is only 20% compared
with other fluorescent lamps.

a partire dal 2015. Ci viene spesso chiesto se QL può rappresentare un'alternativa a questi sistemi di illuminazione inefficienti. La risposta è sì!
Le lampade ad induzione QL sono conformi a tutti i requisiti di efficienza
energetica, mantenimento dei lumen e durata della vita utile indicati nella
Direttiva UE CE 245/2009 . Inoltre, le lampade ad induzione QL sono esenti
dalle limitazioni indicate nella direttiva 2011/65/UE sulle sostanze pericolose.
La quantità di amalgama (ottimizzata per lo smaltimento) è significativamente minore rispetto alle lampade HID. E data l'estrema durata della vita delle lampade QL, la quantità di amalgama è solo del 20% rispetto alle altre lampade a fluorescenza.
